  • The median total compensation for HR executives reached $2.3 million in 2024, marking a decrease of less than 1% from 2023
  • The largest increase in HR executive compensation was at the smallest companies (less than $10 billion in revenue) in 2024 at 12.2% 
  • Women occupy 68.7% of top HR executive roles, up from 59.3% in 2020
  • Men in HR executive roles saw a 61.2% increase in compensation since 2020, compared to 2.2% for women
